Welcome to “The One” in New Brunswick
NAASE, the North American Association of Synagogue Executives, and NATA, the National Association for Temple Administration, are coming together for a joint 2026 conference in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
This gathering is built for synagogue executives and senior synagogue leaders doing the real work of running and strengthening sacred communities. Whether you have been in the seat a long time or are newer to senior leadership, this conference is designed to offer practical learning, meaningful connection, and a chance to step back, recharge, and think with colleagues who understand the work from the inside.
Mark your calendar for October 26–29, 2026, and plan to join us for a few days of learning, conversation, and community with peers from across the field.
Inspired by the iconic 90s sitcom, this year’s theme is a lighthearted nod to something serious and true: this work is better, stronger, and more sustainable when we do it in community.
The 2026 joint conference celebrates the power of professional friendship, shared learning, honest support, and the relationships that help synagogue leaders navigate complexity with wisdom and heart. At its best, this gathering reminds us that none of us is doing this work alone.
We cannot wait to welcome you to New Brunswick for a conference that promises substance, connection, and a little fun too.
Plan to arrive no later than 4:00 pm Monday, October 26.
Plan to depart the evening of Thursday, October 29.
