Tikkun Olam at the Conference

Repairing the world, together.

The conference isn't only about us. It's also about the work we do for others — alongside partner organizations doing some of the most important justice work in the Jewish community today.

Why This Matters

Service is part of the work.

Synagogue executives spend their lives making space for community. At this conference, we make space to act on behalf of communities beyond our own.

Tikkun olam — the Jewish call to repair the world — isn't an extra credit assignment. It's part of why we gather. This year, we're proud to partner with two extraordinary organizations whose work models the values our congregations are built on. Both will be on-site at the conference, ready to teach, organize, and invite you to take part.

Our Partners

Two organizations. One shared mission.

Each of these partners brings deep Jewish values and decades of experience to the work of justice and care.

Tikkun Olam Partner
Keshet
Equality, justice, and dignity for LGBTQ+ Jews.

Keshet envisions a world in which all LGBTQ+ Jews and their families can live with full equality, justice, and dignity. By strengthening Jewish communities and equipping Jewish organizations with the skills and knowledge they need to make all LGBTQ+ Jews feel welcome, Keshet works to ensure full equality of LGBTQ+ Jews and their families in Jewish life.

They also create spaces in which all queer Jewish youth feel seen and valued — and advance LGBTQ+ rights nationwide.

Join Keshet at the conference to learn how this work is rooted in Jewish values and to ensure your organization's policies, programming, and culture foster equality and belonging for LGBTQ+ constituents and staff. Together, we'll also write notes of support, affirmation, and gratitude to LGBTQ+ youth.

MAZON
A Jewish response to hunger.

MAZON — the Hebrew word for "food" or "sustenance" — is a national nonprofit working to end hunger among people of all faiths and backgrounds in the United States and Israel. Inspired by the Jewish values of tzedakah and tikkun olam, MAZON is the leading Jewish voice in hunger advocacy and the only national Jewish organization dedicated exclusively to this cause.

Through education, policy advocacy, and strategic grant-making, MAZON addresses not just immediate food needs but the systemic issues that allow hunger to persist — with a particular focus on populations that have often been overlooked.

Join MAZON at the conference to learn how this work is rooted in Jewish values and to explore ways your congregation can become an active partner in the fight to end hunger.
How to Participate

Show up. Sit in. Take action.

Both Keshet and MAZON will host sessions and activities throughout the conference. Stop by their tables, attend their workshops, and bring what you learn back to your community. Look for full session details in the conference program when registration opens.
